Hi,

Sorry to ask such a simple question but my Laptop has 2 Partitions (Drive C:; and Drive D:) and I am wondering if can save some space on my disk if I just use my Partition Master and transform it to a single Drive.
Thank you very much

Partitioning basically means spliting the drive into different section. So obvious, yes, it requires some space :P It all depend on the size of the partion.

I wouldn't remove that partition unless you really know what your doing as really need the space. It's probably a restore partition. Unless you have a restore CD of some sort, you won't have any way of restoring the computer back to it's factory setting should anything happen.

Ummm...jsut a quick related question.. how do I break partitions on my HD.
Ive got 2 HDs. The thing is when I start the pc I am given choice.Start using Windows Xp or Start using Windows 98. Currently I have XP installed. How do I get rid of this thing?
I know it sounds stupid....

If you have your own question, please make your own thread. But as for your question, you need a boot manager of some sort. Or to make things easier, simply change the hard drive you wish to boot to as your boot drive in your bios. If your computer is fairly new, it should have the option to use any drive on any channel.
