does a radeon 4850 fit in a micro atx case?

The only video cards that fit into microATX cases in general are cards that are referred to as "low profile". I'm not sure if you can find a 4850 that will be low profile...

It's funny, isn't it, that low profile cards are Narrower, but just as long?

You'd think they would need to be Shorter to accommodate the shorter form factor board. Hmm.

They sure don't offer much for lo-pro cards do they.

actually, you might be able to squeeze a 4850 in there, but it would be tight.

It wouldnt be that tight.. the case is about 14" long, and the bottom is pretty open. Thats one of the few microatx cases ive seen with that much room on the bottom though, normally they stick the psu in the front there, a hd cage, or somethin dumb, a 4850 should fit in there alright.

Micro-atx doesn't mean slim cases. There are a few microATX cases out there that'll fit all but the largest dual cards. Slim cases, however, are another story...
