As long as you don't install a 3rd part program such as Intel pro wireless then windows will be able to configure the wireless.

alright, you made it back!!

so on a fresh hd OS install, install all service tag drivers --
EXCEPT: Intel pro

now, at this point, as a "virtual simulator":
