well.. im thinking of buying a new pc-case, but.. does anyone has xp with this case? its the Coolermaster Mistique (RC-631)

i like the way it looks, but is the case good? ( in the matter of airflow and all that kind of stuff..) :)
 
i considered that one.. but i dont really like the look of it :) but i do know the stacker is a good case, but the Mystique looks better ^^

Feedbacks are the attraction!!!

Pros: For people who think its an expensive case its because its aluminum. Its totally worth it! Custom Master -Sharpie
Pros: Cooling seems to be good. Room for drives are good. Power supply area seems to be adequate. Nice overall look.
Pros: Looks Great! Cable control! Add a ton of fans if you like! Most everything is screwless or at least a thumb screw! Roomy! Lots of air flow! Solid
Pros: Built like a tank! Dual-handle on the top for easy moving. Slide out Mobo tray is awesome.
Pros: This case is HUGE...I knew it was big but wow, I was shocked when I pulled it out. I had absolutely no problems at all working with this case, and it was a much easier build then on a Mid tower.
Pros: Loads of room. Good looking and cooling too. Room for all 11 of my HD's and the DVD, Floppy.
Pros: Huge, plenty of room Sharp looks, blue leds Smart, toolless design. Works with everything out there, BTX, ATX, etc...
Pros: HUGE. Enough room for everything and then some. Very good airflow, tons of configuration options, and a rediculous amount of places for fans. Everything feels very high quality to me, the front door is very heavy duty but opens easily and the magnets hold it back perfectly.
Pros: This thing is a tank. The aluminum is very thick. I would not be afraid to kick it as hard as I could. Anything will fit inside this case. Plenty of drive bays that can be used for anything from fans to CD drives to Hard drives. The USB ports up front are handy. The many ways you can configure it - the way the door swings, BTX form factor, the inside fan cage can take any size fan, etc. All fan mounts are snap-in for 120mm fans. PSU can be mounted with fan blowing upwards, so hot air goes out the top instead of into your case with all the other toasty components. Removable motherboard tray makes life
Pros: This case is a great design in every aspect except one.
Pros: Highly Intelligent design, mostly tool-less instalation. The accompanying screw charts for ATX and BTX were very helpful when placing the motherboard, which was a breeze since the entire tray comes out with no screws. Power supply went in easily the first time (FSP Group 700Watt SLI). Great fan placement (also screwless install). Loving the HDD bay which can easily be removed from th front of the case, and both side panels are secure and screwless. Did I mention near tool-less installation? /screwless//pwnd/
Pros: The dream case of many people on xtremesystems.com, this case is roomy, and provides tons of airflow. It also provides tons of expansion and is stylish.
Pros: This case is fantastic. I actualy purchased the new black version from a B&M store, but thought I'd share my review here on newegg. The black case is identical to the silver case, minus the new color :). This case is an overclockers dream. It looks beautiful with a few UV lights in it!
Pros: This case is a dream to build in for the initial build. Sides open easily, MB Tray slides out. Drives mount easily with option to secure in place with screws, but not required. Initial build on a countertop was a breeze. Further, ventilation is excellant.

well.. i said i KNOW the Stacker is a very good case.. but still.. i dont really want my pc too look like a Hummer or so. i want my new case to be stylish, but yet to have enough space and cooling propabillities for the processor i'm buying :o

The case do weight like a hummer. right now my case weights 45 pounds:o

anyhow.. noone know's the case i posted? i havent found much usefull review's or so of it yet. ofc im open for suggestions of other cases, just no ugly ones please (aka ntxz Nemesis :P )
 
Whats the most your willing to spend? I will browse the net for cases which are highly rated for cooling performance. Hopefully, the looks will vary a lot, so keep an eye out for an edit.

EDIT: That's actually not as easy as I first thought. Well, I'll let you look yourself, but will give you some criteria:

As there are so many cases, you want strict rules. So:

1) Have an intake fan located at the front, at the bottom. Brings in cool air, helping to cool the GPUs and forcing hot air up, up and away.
2a) If the PSU is located at the top of the case, you will want a fan on the side to serve as an intake for the CPU, as rear fan will be an exhaust.
2b) If the PSU is located at the bottom of the case, a side fan isnt necessary, as the rear fan serves as the intake(if case is perforated)/exhaust for the CPU. A blowhole at top of case is necessary here.
3) As you have 2 hot GPUs, a side-case fan located roughly above where your 7800's will be would be a great idea (even it can only hold a 40mm), but not necessary.
4) If you want it to NOT sound like a wind tunnel, or want the best temperatures you can get, make sure the fans are 12cm. Comparing a 12cm with a 8cm: 12cm are quieter when pushing same amount of air as 8, as its spinning at a lower rpm. If both run at same rpm, 12cm push FAR more air.

All I can think of at moment.

i have the bottom front as exhaust,.. since the 7800GTX fans blow the hot air that leaves the heatsink towards the front :) if i put an intake there.. it would blow the air back in again :o but, ill have a look
 
lol im gonna draft up my own case with autocad 2006 and customize it with fans on the bottom (yes fans on the bottom, it'll have feet to raise it up slightly lol), it will have fans all over the place... if only i knew a place that would take the design and build it for me lol... maybe my dad will know... oh and it will have a magnetic side panel and such... the works... maybe ill even design a spot to mount my LCD in the side of the case, and have the cd drive pop out just below it. lol custom rackmount would be sweet too...
maybe it would be easier to just buy a case and have a company mod it for me lol... or buy a dremel and mod it myself... lol

hmm... in fact... i could make a Case all myself.. well, draw one, and let it me made.. 1mm thick stainless steel.. but that would become a really heavy weight
anyhow.. any suggestions for a other case then? or is the mistique a good case?

Heat will trap in that case for the 7800gtxs. It had less freedom inside that case for airflow.:D

Get a case that supports 120mm fans all around the case.
