My current ram:

Name: Physical Memory 0, 1
Description: PC2-5300
Vendor: Kingston
Capacity: 2x1024 MB
Max Bandwidth: 5.3 GB/s
Part Number: 99U5316-010.A00LF
Serial Number: C2E0D88
Data Width: 64 bits
Bus Frequency: 333.333 MHz
Slot Location: Slot 0,1

I want this

ill throw away my kingston ram if i get the gskill so it doesnt slow it down.. But Will i notice a difference? could i overclock my bus better? My bus wont go over 203. when i set it to 205, prime95 reports a rounding error

if im not really gonna see a performance increase, i dont wanna spend the money.. (rather get an eighth of ganja)

Kuma 7750+

Asus 790gx

So basically i could raise the bus easily with the 1066 ram?
No, you can't raise the bus speed on the board, but it looks to me like
your board will support the RAM you've chosen.

You should see a small increase in performance, but you'd notice a
bigger increase if you went to 4Gigs.

I think it depends on your board. It doesn't seem like it would be
that big of a jump though, so seems feasible.

Also theres another set of ram i am looking at: OCZ SLI

its default voltage can be 2.35, which means it'll overclock like mad. but why are there so many bad reviews? is it just because those people are dumbasses or is it really a bad product?

After reading quite a few of them I am inclined to agree with your first thought. ;)

You should be able to easily push that pair to 1200MHz. As for how high they will actually go - test it. Not all silicon comes off the line the same.

i was looking for some reviews on it and check it out:

For testing this memory I used the following test setup:

Motherboard: ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe
CPU: AMD 64 X2 3800+
PSU: PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W
Video Card: HIS 1900XTX
Hard Drives
: Seagate 7200.10 320GB in RAID 0
Memory: OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 SLI-Ready Edition

Please note that in order to find the maximum stable overclock, I increased the memory voltage to 2.35 using a timing of 5-5-5-15 T1. I started at the default speed of 1066MHz DDR2 and slowly increased until I hit 12000MHz. I found 1200MHz DDR2 to be stable when both running Prime95 and games

And also my motherboard is alot better than a M2N32-SLI, obviously. So i should be able to hit 1200 no problem :D

Also is 1200 the max speed for ddr2? i cant find anything faster
