does HD affect gaming

Not loading but when you in the game playing does the harddrive you have affect in any way how well you can play the game.
 
The game play will be affected by your video card and the amount and speed of RAM you have.


There most likely will not be any noticable differences based on the speed of your drive. And I dont think the amount of buffer space on your HDD will make a noticable impact either. Most drives have 2MB and performace ones have 8MB... You dont need to spend more money just on that factor alone.

Took a look at your computer specs... (should have done that first.. my bad)

The Seagate ST3200822A 200GB 7200RPM has an 8MB buffer

During gameplay, the HDD is not really an issue -- even if it was, it would account for a whopping 0.5fps for everything but the most destute systems. You're best off spending money on the RAM, Video and CPU/MOBO to directly improve gaming performance.
