Does Internet History Have Any Effect on Internet Speed Surfing the Web?

I decided to use my cache cleaner to delete my Internet (Chrome) History each time I run it and I was wondering if Internet History affects internet speed when your surfing, assuming that you aren't going into history to click a site but your going say to favorites. The bottom line, if you're not using Internet History to go back to a certain Web Page or Site, is there any advantage or disadvantage in letting your History accumulate? Thanks for your answer.

History doesn't help the speed in which your browser loads web pages or anything, it just keeps a record of all of the sites you have visited. If this isn't cleared every now and again it can take up a lot of space.

Cookies and Cache (unless im getting confused myself) do help the speed in which you load pages, they store information about sites locally on your computer and use these when you re-load the sites. (i.e. cookies store your username and passwords for sites if you choose to save them).

for the cookies in your browser you should be able to look at them and keep the ones ya want and delete the ones you don't need. check under options and look at or edit cookies. don't remember.
you can view them and see who it belongs too.

Although there are many ways to do it, CCleaner is handy for keeping a list of cookies to keep (Options > Cookies). I accumulate a list of cookies to keep then it's easy to remove the unwanted ones as you go (eg by running CCleaner in Auto from shortcut). I do it almost unconsciously as I surf.

i will take a look at it. Seems to be other options i never paid attention too. Just to clean. good reminder. im sold.

Thanks I'm Confused About What You're Saying About the Cache Though

I clear out my cache every chance I get as I thought the more items in it the slower your browser will be. Is this the wroing thing to do?

I usually leave in all the cookies as well.

I do not keep all cookies. Like computerforum.com or a news paper i read or stock exchange. Many times im searching for site or information from google.
I get rid of those. You have thousands just taking up space and you likely will not ever use again let alone visit. i do not want to type my name in here and password as example. Many times you may visit a site and no, its not the one ya wanted or did not have the answer you were look for.
