Does Internet Processer Make Significant Different in Internet Speed

By internet speed, I mean the time it takes for you to click on a site & to have it appear on your screen fully loaded. If I have Broadband Cable Service (Roadrunner) & my laptop is Pentium 3 with 1 Gig RAM, XP system, if I upgraded to a laptop with the most current Processer (I think this is a Core Duo) & still had XP & 1 Gig Ram, would I notice a significant increase in internet speed over my original laptop?

Technically, no. The processor has absolutely no impact on the speed of your internet. That would be your modem. However, a slower computer may not be able to process the page very quickly. So, even though the pages are "loaded" your computer may not display anything right off.
