Does my 3d card support 1440 x 900 ?

I dont know how to tell if it does and the reason i ask is because im trying to get a new widescreen monitor ... looking at this one ..

So i need to does my graphics card support 1440 x 900? Because i read if it dosent i would just be stretching the image ...

Also one other question.

My computer is ment mostly for gameing , would you recommend this monitor for gameing or is there any other widescreen monitors around the same price that are better for gaming? If you know of a better one please link it to me before i buy this one :D

GF7800GT supports up to 2048x1536, or so it should atleast. But you might have to make your own resolution in the nVidia drivers or PowerStrip. My suggestion is not getting a widescreen monitor since not all games support that resolution and as you said it might cause the screen to get stretched.
