does Nvidia have over 1 billion colors?

i have a feeling that Nvdia dont cause Nvidia seems to be all brightish, whitish fades.

while i was looking at x1950xtx and it claims that it has over 1 billion colors.

i kindda believe since ati rumors said ati have superior image-quality and i even experience it myself. my x850xt game screenshots have alot of colors than people with like 6800 ultra, 7600gt ect...

so does Nvidia really dont have over 1 billion colors?
 
heres what i found while roaming around the the net..

"The 8800 GTX can now deliver over 1 billion colors thanks to the entirely new 10-bit display architecture. Previous NVIDIA GPUs could only display 16.7 million colors"

so the 8800gtx does have over 1 billion colors. now all i need to know is the 9600gt and 8800gt..... does 9600gt/8800gt have over 1 billion colors?
