Domain Whois Database question

I registered my domain under a private registration so my details wont show up.

The thing is that i also dont want my server name to show up at the bottom ( i mean the NS1 and NS2), or that the NS1 and NS2 will be my domain name insted of my hosting company name which i saw people do that.

Is there any option to do any of those 2 option and how?

Thanks

I guess.. im sorry but i am kind of new in this so im now realy sure. I know that on hosting server NS1 and NS2 i was suppose to fill in my hosting company like this:
NS1.Hosting company.com and the same goes for NS2

Yes this is DNS.

When you get your host on a different server than your domain ( like I did, hostingplex is the host but yahoo was my domain name provider) you must enter in the DNS of your domain name ( available in the CP usually) the two adresses that was given to you by your host so that whenever someone goes on your domain-name.com, it will poin to your host's server.

My domain name provider is GODADDY.com but my hosting company is different. in the domain control panel i had to enter my hosting NS1 and NS2 so on the whois database my hosting company name is revealed.

When i try to enter my domain name i get an error and i need to change it back to my hosting name.

I guess your adress isn't right....

Are you fot the right DNS adress?

Mine looked like that:
dns1.myhost.com
dns2.myhost.com

If it doesn't work, ask for help in their customer support...:S
