5500... 100fps ... dont think thats gonna happen ... especially at high settings, all the 5500 is is a OCd 5200 really.

dont really know how much that is in $$$, but i saw a brand new FX5500 256mb at newegg for $75.

I have the FX 5500 256mb, and i play mohaa at 1280x1024 at high settings, CoD, Far Cry, Half Life 2, UT2004, and much more, all at highest settings, and they run great!

Mohaa is an old game...I didn't think people still played that anymore. I used to play that for hours. But to get back on topic:

I played Mohaa on medium settings with my integrated graphics and was getting a steady 90fps...I would think a 5500 would get you easily up to 100fps. Seriously the game is at least 4+ years old I believe...(I could be wrong)

But i found out my 5200 is only 16bit.. whatever that means.. =(
i have it on low settings @ 800x600 and get 65vrg fps... (range 96 - 35)

i think mohaa was relesed in 2000 and alot of people still play it and i love the game :D

anyway.. i would like to play this old game with half decent settings and im looking to pay as little as possable to be able to so if anyone could suggest a cheap card to get to fit my needs i would be gratefull =)

thanks

Ah ok so a specific game .. i was referring to the entire series...

Yeah anything over 90fps you dont see any more improvments... but if i have a fps over 100 then when theres alot going on the screen then then the less chance of it falling below 90.. he.. thanks alot everyone

The more frames the better, all the way up.

I got used to 60fps, anything under that and I turn setings down.
(I play FPS mulplayers, so a good high framerate is good to have)
