Only games I would be playing are X-Plane, Flight Sim, Sims, Civ IV, and Sim City. Nothing too graphics intensive. Thoughts? Thanks alot.

none of those games are too bad, except maybe if you are running FSX, which can eat up resources in a hurry. Anyway, the 9800 is not unbearably more expensive, but would give you far superior performance, any other questions feel free to post.

by the way, whats the budget on your rig?
