Don't know which ethernet driver to download.

i got the driver detective. i was updating my drivers and inadvertently erased my ethernet driver. i had an old ethernet driver on a cd i reinstalled so i am back on the net but i need to download a new one to make sure i have the latest and best one for my system. i have spent 30 min trying to figure out which one i need to be downloading and im still not 100% positive which one i need to download. if i am looking at the right thing i am using a nvidia nforce networking controller. the adapter type says ethernet 802.3 so im thinking this is the type of driver i need to be downloading. Anyone point me in the right direction plz?:confused:

i am not seeing a number. it just says nvidia networking controller. Does that mean 1? i am looking at the device manager under network adapters. there is also a 1394 net adapter listed too.
 
its a custom built. dual 2 gig cpu geforce 8800gt vid card. windows xp 108 gig hd with a 80 gig external hd. im not sure what info you were wanting to know.

I have the same board in my Media PC in my living room. I gamed on that machine for about 4 years.

Are you using Windows XP?
