Doom 3 Mars city Mod Case

Wow!!!! he even made the mouse match the pc! its looks sooo awsome! must have taking him a long time to do all of it and alot of money.

Nice

I have been following that worklog for ages now and I see it getting ever closer to being perfect. I truly have respect for the guy.

JAN :D

You mean the Z-Board, right?

It actually comes with a normal QWERTY keyset too, so it operates just like a normal keyboard. And then it comes with a standard gaming keyset, which looks like this:

I actually find it really nice to type on.

It looked like he had a fan on the front too, not sure though.

And rambo, excellent keyboard, how much did that cost?

That case has got to be one of the most impressive things i have ever seen.
respect to that guy for putting so much effort into it. i doubt i'd ever have the patience to put so much time into my own project

oh ic rambo well didnt kno that. but they seem hard to type when you do use the gaming side or w/e you call it. and for me it seems a hasle to switch keyboards when i play. I guess you could say the z-board is for somepeople but not everyone.

theres no ventilation except from the back.
well im pretty sure he has one in the front b/c i saw he had a huge fan that he covered with a round opening door thing.

Wow, that is the single most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life. All tho work he put into that thing, wow, im in awe on how good that thing looks. How much ya think he'll sell it to me for?? :P I WANT THAT!

I admire that work he's doing. You'd be surprised what you can do if you just try it out. The two big skills he has there are creativity and airbrushing. Working with glass and bondo are easy once you know how to do it. Someone with an engineering mind could make that frame and the doors and stuff. A lot of the textures he used were also prefab. It's a matter of being creative enough to look at a part and know how to turn it into that.

Of all the steps he's taken to make that case, I've done all of them (besides airbrushing) and I can tell you that physically, it's not that hard. It's just hard to be able to put it all together and come out with that.

There is ventalition in the back and there is one fan on the top. The front is for the water cooling radiator, he just put the fan in for show just for that picture to imitate the radiator since he hadn't got it yet.

if im not mistaken, the Z-board is usb. so you can let your ps2 keyboard plugged in :D

toug.. the 1 thing i didnt lie on that case was the monitor in the front ( too small screen, and a pretty annoying place to game on, dont you think? )? i just dont see the point of that.
