ok while we play ultimate doom '95 aka doom 1 we get a pink distorted line that blinks and has title of the game flashing at the top where the title bar is it flashes non stop..

Oh my god, I downloaded the Doom 95 shareware version a couple weeks ago and had the SAME EXACT ISSUE!!! Wow, I thought it was just me...... I have no idea what is going on....

If you running windows XP I would try running the game in windows 95 compatibility mode and probery 256 colors (I cant remember if doom 1 had more then 256 colors but if it did not then run in 256 colors).

To get to those setting left click the doom 1 exe file and go to compatibility tabs all those settings should be there.
