Double Click does nothing

When I double click to reply to an EMail nothing happens, it also happens on some other icons when I double click on them,Help!
Try single clicking . If you're using a Email Service such as Hotmail and you're clicking through inbox to outbox or anything etc.. all you have to do is One Click instead of double clicking.
