Down and Up speed

In recent threads I saw the posts by the members of this forum posted their upload and download speed.
Seeing most of the post that download speed is way higher than upload speed.
In my connection Upload speed is 2 times more than Download.
How do I adjust these speeds?
Is it possible to increase the Download speed and decrease the up speed?

The only way to change these down/up values is to change your plan as this is the speed that your client is seeing from your internet service provider. You can't change them direct from your client, but you can limit how much traffic your client receives/sends by using software like NetLimiter.

It seems to me like you're using what looks to be, close to a synchronous internet connection, where your download/upload are about equal.

A lot of people use Asynchronous internet connections where the download tends to be 2 times more than that of the upload i.e...example of NZ internet service provider 0 256kb download, 128kb upload.

You should ring your ISP and ask them what your plan is and what types of Down/UP speeds you should be receiving - looks like you may be quiet some distance from the nearest exchange.
