Downloaded Windows Updates?

Does anyone know where the downloaded windows updates are stored? Or are they just deleted after they are installed? I'm going to reformat soon, and I didn't want to take a lot of time and download them again. Thanks.

When you reformat, you are wiping ALL data, primarily the operating system. You could just order an update CD from Microsoft for free via phone. If you prove to have Genuine Windows, then no problems and you will get the discs in your mailbox. They'll probably give you SP1a and SP2......or you could just specify what you need.

I think they were in the windows folder, but you have to enable viewing of all files/folders, and system/hidden files in order to see them.
