Downloading from Gamestop

Gamestop has Dragon Age: Origins for $15 as a DL, for that price I figured I'd give it a shot but I can't get the DL Manager to connect on either the desktop or the laptop. Right after the attempts I was able to DL Unigine Heaven from a different source, though, so I dunno...

Anybody ever download from Gamestop?

I am curious you run peerblock/guardian? If so try disabling it and trying. You try disabling your firewall and see if that helps any also? Also what kind of download manager is it? P2P style or more like direct download type manager? Might try forwarding any ports it uses through your router if its P2P style.

If I am running that, it's not deliberately. I haven't turned that on myself.

I have not done that. Can I find the option to do so through my control panel and network settings, or somewhere else?

I don't know enough to be able to answer this... :(

TY for the info

Are you running Windows 7? If so, you might try adding the downloader to the list of programs that are exempt from the firewall. Control Panel -> System and Security -> Windows Firewall -> Allow a program through Windows Firewall
