Hi i have windows XP Home on my desktop computer. Due to having lost a few windows files over time i decided to use the recovery disc and reformat my hard drive and reinstall Windows XP. This has been quite successful finally after locating all the necessary drivers but; my one big problem is that i don't seem to be able to install service pack 3. I located it and downloaded it but it doesn't seem to want to open/install. I'm certainly no expert so could you please tell me what I'm doing wrong? The file name says xpsp_5512.080413-2113_us... Microsoft windows xp557,932 Kb.
I had no trouble opening service pack 2 and my system runs ok but for the fact it will not accept and load my ''Roxio Creator 2012 program which i use very often. Please, advise.
