hello all,
it originated with firefox and now chrome as well, i dont seem to be able to download files of more than 80mbs without an error, i noticed that its archives that end up with "unexpected end of archive" (as in firefox) and crc failure...
can anybody bring some clearance, i have read the similar posts on firefoxs support page, all it says there to basically disable any external download plugins (which i actually have "freedownloader") or disable scanning ...anyhow tried everything the problem still persists, i also have 2 antiviruses - avast as a main one and nod32 just for scanning (its not actually running), but i have spotted that it integrates ekrn service which is still running, could it cause the problem, cause they clash? (i mean avast and eset)? and if so, how can i fix that?
thanks very much in advance, this has been doing my nut in for a while now

Press Windows Key + R to get to your run box, and then type "msconfig." Go to startup, and find the service that NOD32 uses. If you don't know it, (which I usually don't) then google the name of each startup service. Disable it, and ignore any errors that come up. Reboot your computer, and check the box that tells msconfig to not load at startup. Then try downloading. ;)
