Downloading Videos from Internet...

ok so i have downloaded the firefox software "VideoDownloader" and i dont really know how to use it with "YouTube" can anyone help or direct me to a previously created thread or quickly explain.
 
This is a "gray" area as far as the rules go, but i will give you a hint; look at the bottom-right hand corner of the firefox window :rolleyes:
 
when you are watching a video on youtube or ... simply click on the VideoDownloaded icon, then a new windows opens and there is a button labeled "Download" , click on that and save the video-.
 
yea i did that, it saved it in less than a second which made me a little skeptical. and it didn't ask me where i wanted to save the clip. but on the downloads mini window i clicked open and chose to open it with windows media player and Firefox from the list of programs but neither proceeded to work. :confused:
