downloads keep getting corrupt

what can cause downloads to keep getting corrupt?

its been happening to me alot this past week and i dont undertstand whats the cause.

it doesnt matter what i download,Some things download okay with no problems but with some its the other way round.

i use Firefox..the latest version

Nah theres been too many...and its small files like ccleaner etc

maybe your anti virus program is deleting what it thinks is a virus.

Try using IE (shudders at the thought) to see if it does the same. If not reinstall FF,

Conflicts with firewall/anti-virus/etc can result in corrupted downloads. I know cause it's happened to me Do you remember if you've installed a new firewall/AV, changed their settings or something of that nature around the time the problem started?

i cant use IE7 its horrible
nah actualy the past few days its been ok so i dont know wth was causing it but im happy its gone and i can download again properly

Its probably got to be something with either your anti virus settings or security settings that aren't allowing the files to download properly, it could also be the site that you are downloading from carries a lot of corrupted files. Maybe try a few other site and see if you have the same problem.
