Dreadful 4870 performace

Had to put my old Pentium D back in clocked a 3.8ghz and im scoring 7,000 3dmark points.

I know the CPU might bottleneck it a bit by thats 50% of what it should get.

Cool its funny it scores exactly the same as my 7950 GX2 so i guess it is a CPU problem.

Yuep, if your CPU can't keep up then it will slow your entire computer down. AKA bottlenecking.

Had to send my E8500 back as it was faulty. I didnt think i would get a bottleneck that bad.

Processors are rarely DOA. Especially with the new "no-pin" design.

It was the CPU i put my old D in and it ran fine and im running an X48.
