Ok, I was going to build this one computer but lately there has been all of these new CPU's, along with other components that have been released. I just wanted to know what everyone else thought would be a good computer to make. The price range on it would be $2500 and I was thinking I might go with dual processor and SLI (if the dual processor doesn't work well for gaming tell me so).

Plexy 716 or the 3540 would be better choices

actually the dual cores will be pretty good for games but its not better than the fx-55 right now, the amd 64 X2 4800 will run at 2.4 and the fx-55 goes at 2.6, but i would still recrommend the X2 for the multitasking

I believe most games are currently only single thread though. So two processors won't really help it out.

ya ur right, thats why the fx is faster than the dual right now, when dual core compatible games come out then they will rock
