Dremlling a hole

I want to use a dremel to cut out the metal with holes in it at the back of my case - Im going to use a dremel - do i have to take all my parts out of the case or can i just cover the parts up with kitchen roll?

I would take everything out just to be safe, because even with wrap there is still a chance that some metal chips will fall places they should not, especially when you go to take the wrap off. Just a word of advice use tape to mask off where you are cutting so you dont get to much scoring

Agreed with post above. My friend did that once and a rather large (1/2in?) fell onto his mobo and shorted it out.... =( it was a Core Duo (at that time that was thebest cpu)
