Drive 68% Fragmented

Well, the title basically says it all. I have one, 500gb HDD, and, according to System Mechanic, it is 68% fragmented. Isn't that...uhh...very fragmented? Should I be worried?
 
um just defrag it using the defragmetation wizard on your system it should be fine also is your drive partioned ? what system are you running and how do you know its 68% fragmented
 
I have two partitions, a 40gig XP partion (my OS). The rest is one big partition, I know it's 68% fragmented because System Mechanic tells me so.

How else would they know...? Have you posted an actual helpful response yet to any Thread you offer 'advice' in?

Cpetrie, best bet is to defragment your Drive (or each partition in your case) 2-3 times. A lot of times, especially in higher-fragmented situations, not everything is done the first pass. Sure it's much better, but due to the sheer volume of info being moved, you'll still have fragmented areas. The second pass will clear up a lot that wasn't tended to the first time around. 3+ passes sort of 'fine-tune' and make everything nice and pretty. I've never had to run more than 3 passes at any given time.
 
BTW if you want a good free defragger try Auslogics Disk Defrag its pretty good and beats windows defrag by far :P
