drive cables included when building PC?

In the tutorial I am using to make my future PC(http://www.pcmech.com/byopc/step/1/), it says that I need drive cables. Being a newb at this whole computer building stuff, I have to ask what are drive cables, I think they are the ones that connect basically everything to the mobo, but I could be wrong. Do I need to buy these seperately from the other componenets?
 
well you could buy the drive cables probaly from that web site or you can buy the drives at a walmart or best buy or some other store (and not get the drive from the web site) because they are included with the drive
