Hello mates !
I have a 120GB Maxtor HDD that went completely bad.
XP Says its in RAW state.
PDD wasn't helpful as I had hoped it would, as it gave me the following message:
"Cannot fix boot sector of the partition! We recommed that you use Data Recovery Wizard to recover your files."
My question is this:
I guess that once I format the drive it will be OK again, but I'm worried about my files ... Sure I could use your recovery software, but I don't have another 120GB drive that I could use to save the recovered data.
Is there any chance your recovery software simply marks the files for reuse ? (after I format the drive ...)
This so I don't have to save it all to another drive, then move it back to the original formatted drive ..
Thank you very very much for the help !
