Anyone check out this title yet or plan to?

I played a bit when it was released this morning and it was pretty fun. A lot of the reviews are really polarized though.

Nice, hopefully you'll enjoy it. Are you usually more for arcade or sim?

I still haven't been able to log into the servers on our end at all. The game's pretty fun but without its multiplayer-centric features it starts falling a little flat.

After getting the legend trophy it is like 'come on..' ;)

Bit of everything beers, play any type of race game from f1 & moto gp for proper racing to nfs for more action, the one I am really waiting for is project cars it looks amazing.

So, verdict? ;)

The ongoing server issues are kind of killing it for me, although it's still more enjoyable than some of the reviews would lead you to believe.

it`s certainly a game worth buying, the graphics are really good, the range of cars is just phenomenal even the odd car I never heard of.

It`s certainly not a game for cartoon racers like nfs that just floor it and never use the brakes with the realistic car damage you have to master good steering and braking control.

Will do some driveclub recording on my avermedia later and upload and link to my youtube channel.

Cool deal. It seems to be a pretty good blend of arcade with some sim elements that a lot of people either don't realize or don't mention (big difference between FF, FR, MR and AWD cars, trailing-throttle oversteer, car balance with regard to elevation changes, etc). Cars like the RUF you can really feel the weight of the engine in the rear wanting to come around versus others.

Using a wheel adds a lot to the immersion, would definitely recommend with a FFB setup (/me hugs my T500RS).

It sounds like you've visited multiplayer ;)
