I have 4 computers at my house and NONE of them are working properly. Granted none of them are brand new, but all have been reformated and have Windows XP like they did originally. The problem is I dont have ANY cd's with driver reinstallation on them. My Acer laptop audio doesnt work among other things, my IBM and HP desktops the audio works, but I cant download or use any software! I dont know what to do...Ive heard you have to call and order cd's and Ive also heard you can download them from a website. Can someone please give me some information. 4 computers not working is killing me!

Search your motherboard names and card names on google.

Eg. "*part name* driver download"

That is what i have done before.

When you say "but I cant download or use any software" it raises the queston, did you use the same cd key with each computer?

Yes I used the same CD keys. I figured since they all had XP it wouldnt matter. I only had the 1 product key. :(....Can you tell me what I should do please. I really need to get this resolved.

Oh its illegal? Ok so if Ive had XP on there the whole time and REFORMAT with XP will the original product keys underneth the desktops not work? If those dont work where am I suppose to get keys?
