Driver problem?

I have this problem when i boot into Vista, and its just really annoying more than anything else.
But i would like to know the cause if anybody can help. I recently upgraded my gpu drivers from nvidia (7900gs) and when i boot up its like everytime an app loads into the system tray the screen goes black for a second then it comes back on. And also when i right click on the desktop it does the same. Would this be a driver problem or something worse. Thanks for any help

If this is happening after the driver upgrade then it probably is a driver problem.

Run this and delete all of your current driver files. Then redownload and see if it works correctly

that program doesnt seem to work, maybe because i have vista?. is there any other program like that one?

This will work with Vista. It recommends to first uninstall the drivers via device manager and then to boot into safe mode and run this. Tell me if it helps!
