driver?

so today i finally got my computer back after it has been broekn for about a month. I turn it on and now when i drag a window across the screen it lags, and when i scroll down a page it lags, i installed all the new ati drivers and it still is diong this. What could be the problem?
 
are you aware that the new ATI drivers supports from Radeon 9500 and above?
Assuming you have a Radeon!
What is the card you have? may be I can help you find the right driver !
 
I did the search for drivers and i clicked on the windows xp then radeon then i clicked the x800 card and the there was a new driver so i downloaded it, idk how it cant be for my card which is a x800 pro
 
yeah thats the one i downloaded, also when i go to device manager and i click on display devices it shows my card and it has an exclamation mark and so i double clicked it and it said that this device cannont start (code 10). And it said uninstall the driver and then reinstall it and ive done that like 10 times and its not working
 
It did this to me when i first built my computer, and when i took it in instead of downloading the bundle driver the guy had to dl seperate ones or something
