I am having trouble finding the driver for my Dell Dimension 3000. It is the one for the Network controller. When I go to Control panel, system, hardware there is a yellow question mark. I have gone to Dells website and downloaded the drivers there but the yellow question mark is still there.

Find what model NIC you have in the machine and try to find another version of the driver elsewhere. Maybe a newer or older version than what Dell offers will work.
Here is the driver for the built in lan card.

However, if you have a separate card installed then all I need is the 4 digit vendor and device ID numbers. To get the ID numbers, go into device manager, right click on the device that has the yellow question mark on it and click on properties, then click on the details tab, there you will find the ID numbers, they look like the attached image circled in red.
Also give me your operating system.
