Drivers stop responding. Help.

I have a gtx 580 and i have been having a VERY frustrating problem. While playing WoW, and only when playing WoW, my game will freeze, go to a black screen and then go to my desktop. The error image says that my drivers have stopped responding and recovered successfully. I then have to terminate WoW in the task manager and restart it. I have the newest drivers, this happened with the old ones too. How can i fix this?

Join the club. I have a GTX 570 that has a display driver crash issue at random times. Had the same problem with my previous HD 6870 and 4870. So far I've rolled back to an older driver, and I've also set timings for RAM and CPU voltage manually in the BIOS. So far it seems good for me.

Did you try returning the card? Also what do the CPU and RAM voltage have to do with the video cards performance? Does it happen to you in WoW?

I don't play WoW, but voltage fluctuations with RAM can cause crashes with the rest of the system.

I did send in my 6870 but XFX said my card was fine, but they swapped it out anyway and I still had issues. I bought this GTX 570 from Claptonman. S oright now I'm just trying to see if I have faulty hardware or I can make it run on this system without an issue.
