Dropbox emergency!!

I just clicked on a folder in my dropbox folder and told it to stop syncing (selective upload)and these files were never uploaded. to my horror I just found out that evil dropbox decided to delete them and there is nothing in the recycle bin.

are you saying the dropbox trash can when you online does not show it?

Well if you stopped the sync, it makes sense that they were never uploaded. But I can't see why they were deleted. Most likely they were in the cache too long.
