dropped incoming internet packets or virus?

has anyone ever had any problems with their internet connection being non existent due to spyware or a virus, i think this is what im going through, though i dont know what im looking for, i had 2 motherboard controller cards, then another one suddenly showed up one day in my scsi controller section, names A347SCSI SCSI CONTROLLER, does anyone have any ideas or wat else i can do, i also use to be able to start up my large hd 250 gb wd hd, but since that has shown up, i notice i dont boot up, i stay on the windows xp page, with the blue thing running across the screen...can some one help...holla back

And what kind of controller card exactly?

A347SCSI SCSI CONTROLLER

Looks like the A120% virtual drive (which should be in the SCSI section)

start your computer in safe mode and go into device manager and make sure that nothing has gotten corrupted....run a virus scan and adaware scan to make sure you have nothing to worry about...what, if any, new hardware/software have you installed lately?
