As with any touch screen, it depends on how rough you use it. But if people say it scratches anytime you use it, that is completely false.

i have had mine for just over 2 and half years now and not a single scratch on the screens, so whoever told you they are easy to scratch is talking absolute rubbish

Well, the stylus shouldn't leave a mark on it, so any other scratching would depend solely on how you treat it. Given that it should be closed when you're not using it, I don't see how it could get badly scratched.
