My Verizon DSL does not seam to be working well. not from day 1 when i got it. I am on the starter plan of 768k/128k and i am pulling like 510k/87k and some times lower. I am connected right to the modem as i have had someone tap in the wireless router a few times before even know WEP was enabled. Anyway, Every now and then the DSL light blinks on the modem and i cant connect at all, then there is times where the modem appears to be fine and yet the net is slow. I am having to reboot the modem 2 or 3 times a day. I need to know if its my modem causing this problem? I have stand alone DSL, No phones connected.
Also at times the Ethernet light and the Internet light will blink a lot even with the computer powered off. I don't know why that happens.
Post what you think might be the problem, If i cant get it fixed before Monday or Tuesday i am going to cancel my DSL and go back to Road Runner. Thanks in advance.
