Couple of quick questions (easy, i know): DSL connection goes through the telephone line? And then, can that/modem be switched between phone line pluggins/jacks? (If i needed it changed from the upstairs jack, to the downstairs jack, it's possible?). Lastly, when someone is coming to instal it, all they need is a telephone jack and a computer?

you will need filters on all of the telephone jacks in the house which should come with everything else. yes, afaik, the only need the telephone socket and the computer. and yes you can move them around the house.
