I am trying to benchmark my internet connection for the next week 4x a day, heres what I was asked to do

"Can you do a speed test periodically and keep track of the results.

Keep track of it for a week to start and do the tests at different times of the day – maybe 3-4 times a day.

There is an option on dslreports that will store the results for you – look into this – maybe it will print a graph or something for you.

Would any of these sites make this task easier?

Not really...also keep into consideration Comcast/Mediacom for sure "cook" the speeds with "power boost" which I am sure other ISP do as well. In my case it shows 26mb and I get 21mb but I am in a low population use area and I pay for a 16mb line and got a free upgrade to 20mb lines.
