Dual Boot - 32bit/64bit

Hi all,

I am about to get a new computer (Vista 64bit) and will need to dual boot with a 32bit O/S for some programs that I need for work - probably going to be Windows 2000.

I just want to check that a 32bit system will work on a computer designed for 64bit, and that this will work....?

I'm duel booting between my windows xp pro 32bit and windows xp pro x64 bit. My main is the x64.
