I bought a computer with Windows Vista Pre Installed. However, it did not come with a reformat disk like a lot of the computers today. So when I go to dual boot how will this be possible if I do not have the disk to install a fresh copy. I do have the disk for the XP Pro OS just not the Vista. I had a buddy of mine let me use his vista disk because he bought vista from the store so he has the disks you need to install it. So I took his disk and pretty much just dragged all the files on my computer but I was just wondering how you create a boot disk or reformat disk from the files I dragged and dropped. Or can you just create a second partition and just install XP on that and leave the vista partition alone?
Thanks for the help, this may sound confusing.
