dual boot not working, xp wont shut down.

Hi chaps hope someone can help, I had to do a system restore as the OS was not booting up. , I had it on for a couple of days was working ok I decided to shut it down having a feeling it would not boot up again and it didn't.

I have a dual boot on separate drives and my second boot OS is'nt booting either.....both xp installs????

hmm I have tryed uninstalling some programs on my main boot (internet OS)ect but it wont let me do that I'm happy to uninstall stuff but a can not.

Please any advice I'm a bit of a novice..

the reason I had two OS was for this reason but the second OS wont friggy boot either...I dunno any help welcome

Ive just re installed xp and rebboted and its still not working, it goes through all the motion, then I get a blue screen doing nothing, not the blue screen of death but when its just about to load the page....prrrr dunno please any help Im going mad.
 
Ill start again that wasnt very clear, it was booting to a point, almost all the way into windows but then it got stuck just before fully loading windows..!

So I booted to safe mode and was able to load the OS no problem, so I restarted tryed system restore, it worked once then never again.

I thought sod it and re installed XP, drivers, anti virus and so on...rebooted and nothing same thing.

I then tryed booting my second OS on my second hard drive and that would not boot either and that was installed like one week ago and has not been used yet.hope this is making sense.

Now I have deleted both OS re installed xp on my second hard drive and so far so good but have not turned off the computer yet so f__k knows weather its gonna work.......

Im guessing my first hard drive is broken or somothing, but why could I not load my second OS on my other hard drive I thought a dual boot would let me to such a thing...I dunno like I said Im a novice but this seems weird..confused...
