Dual-boot question.

It's possible to dual boot WinXP with Win98, right?
(I'm a big fan of old DOS games and am an all-or-nothing kind of person so today's emulation just didn't cut it for long.) I would just like to know this before I make any efforts at all to pursue it.

If so, and this isn't a big thing since I can look elsewhere for help documentations so I'm not begging for replies on this sub-question, but I figure why not ask; How would I go about dual-booting my PC with XP & 98? Is it a simple or strenuous task? Would I only need the 98 & XP required disks or is there something more to it?

Thanks a BUNCH! :D

its is quite easy to do... all you need to do is set up a partition and make sure that the partition which you intend to install windows 98 on is formatted in the FAT32... its should be pretty much straight forward from there.

if you have another hard drive it makes it easier as you wont be needing a partition and you wont have to lose your current windows XP installation

If you do want another drive just search on ebay, you can get a 40gb on there for about £20 probably £38 over there:)

Awesome, I hoped - and figured - it wasn't a life-sentence just trying to get a dual boot to work properly.

Thanks for the help, guys :P

Dual Boot with 2 HDs?

How do you get a dual boot with 2 HDs? I have one now with Win98 but am considering adding another with WinXP. Could I set it up to dual boot? How can I do this / where can I go to find out how to do this?

Thanks,

Gard.
