Hello people,

Just wanted some advice,

I know i can Dual boot Vista Ultimate and SUSE 11.1 no problems,But is there a way i can hide one of the Os? in the boot menu and say press a button on the keyboard so it shows up just for me when im there?

Reason been,my system is a family pc and when im out obviusly people wonna use my pc which is fine but they get stuck on the boot menu and dont know what to do lol

i would like to use Suse as my main OS for internet, email, youtube etc and use Vista strictly for gaming only and nothing else.

hope you can understand my confusing post:D

thanks

In the GRUB menu config file (/boot/grub/menu.lst usually) there is a 'hiddenmenu' option that is commented out, uncomment that and it should just time-out silently to the default OS, you can also decrease the timeout period in the same file. You'll need to be able to run as root.

There may be a GUI app you can use though, look it up in YaST.
