Hi all,
I currently have XP on my laptop and it's pretty sluggish. I have defrag'ed the hard drive, got the maximum (quantity and spec) RAM, and got minimal things running and in the startup. I think the laptop is just getting old etc, it has a reasonable spec (1.6Ghz Centrino, 2Gb RAM...).
How do I go about setting up dual boot with Xubuntu...? I will just be using it for surfing, word processing etc. Any work I will be doing on Windows. And will it run quicker than windows...?
How much hard drive space do I need. My laptop only has a 40Gb hard drive, and I only have 6Gb free. Is that enough...?
Thanks everyone!
