Hi all,
I am try to do a minor upgrade to this old desktop to see if it can speed up a little. I plan to put a 60gb ssd with windows 7 and ati hd 5450 graphic or nvida 520 (i have two of them, which is better or work with this computer?)

I want to put a little more memory in there. currently have 2 GB and I bought 2 more GB ram, I try put it there last night. only to found out one of the memory slot is not good. the last one. now I choice is either I make it stay with 2GB run in dual channel mode or put 3 stick in there run single channel mode. what do you guys think? which is better? 2gb or 3gb?

Specication said 2gb maximum but It bios recognise 3 gb.

Thank you.

If the specifications say the motherboard only supports 2 gigabytes of RAM I would not put in the extra RAM. Start saving for a another system in my opinion. You can get a used system with better specifications for less than $200.
