Dual Display Adapter

Would this display adapter allow me to extend the desktop of a computer? ie. Use dual monitors with different images on both screens working as a dual monitor setup.

Yes, it'll work!

If you've experimented with your VGA/HDMI port before (hehe), you'll realize that you can split the video source and create multiple displays that run individually.. This device appears to be a mini-graphics card in itself, allowing for up to 6 displays (requiring 6 USB ports).. If say this is a good choice if you don't have an extra video port or you want to easily be able to change the format from VGA/HDMI

TLDR: Yes, it will work.

The description on that one doesn't say anything about extending. It just lists cloning. So I'm not completely sure.
